Tras la desintegración de Colosseum y Tempest John Hiseman, el baterista de respectivas banda, decide reformar Colosseum II, con el ex guitarrista de Skid Row (no la banda que todos conocemos) y Thin Lizzy, Gary Moore.

La alineación se completaría con Mike Starrs (voz), Don Airey (Teclados) y Neil Murray (bajo).

Pese a que el disco contiene 6 canciones , todas duran más de 6 min. a excepción de Gemini & Leo y Secret Places.
