1985: Feel The Fire

Originalmente llamados The Lubricunts, formada por D.D. Verni (bajista) y Rat Skates de baterista. Donde para llevar a cabo el proyecto, llega Robert "Riff Thunder" Pisarek de guitarrista y el vocalista Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth. En 1981 llega Dan Spitz en reemplazo de Pisarek, pero no duraría mucho ya que ese mismo año abandona la banda, para que en 1983 ingrese a Anthrax. El reemplazo fue Rich Conte, y añadiendo otro guitarrista a la agrupación Mike Sherry. Durante ese periodo, el guitarrista Anthony Ammendolo también tuvo un corto plazo en la banda.

Ya para 1982, los cambios aún continuaban, ingresando dos miembros más a la banda, el guitarrista Bobby Gustafson y Joe, reemplazando al dúo de guitarristas. Joe, abandona la banda, dejando como único guitarrista a Bobby.

Ya con previas grabaciones, como el demo Power in black y el EP Rotten to the core (también llamado "Overkill"), marcaron el paso para que Megaforce Records le diera un contrato y grabara el disco.
